The Great Crash and the Bookworm
The Great Crash is a wonderful book, and John Kenneth Galbraith describes it. My dad was employed as a security salesman by a local small bank in 1929. And he sold stocks and bonds, but he mostly got these old stocks. When stocks fall 48%, I knew we're selling them to people a few months ago. You really don't feel like going out and facing those same people.
