We were still inspired by some tempos and chords from songs that we would borrow but probably actually a bit less than we have previously. We were more looking at like okay how did Frank Ocean manage to make records that feel like you're in a room with him performing them even when there's no real instruments on the song. People are really in search of remarkable stuff that requires as little technology as possible.
