Emergency Physicians Experience of Stress During Resuscitation
Stress has previously been demonstrated to affect the performance of surgeons in the operating theatre. A recent systematic review found that there isn't really much out there looking at how stress might affect clinition performance during resuscitation. So this study took a too pronged approach to try and delve into the experiences of emergency physicians who take part in focus groups. Andi highly recommend others do that, because i think there's a lot that we can take and reflect on our own practice here. It will be really interesting to see what else comes out in terms of the literature on this topic.
