The Importance of Reason in Morality
There are separate projects here, two ways in which science can weigh in on the question of morality. One is to help us descriptively understand how we got here and that is an evolutionary story. But people have emotions and intuitions and various cultures have norms which everyone involved claim have something to do with morality. And based on culture, this can play out in very different ways.
