The onus of proof is on e people who are telling us to give up unessential life technologies, she says. If you want africans to have the living standards of europeans, that's going to mean something like ten times as much energy consumption,. which is inevitably going to come from hydrocarbons. She argues nuclear can play a major role in this, but it's no replacement for fossil fules.
