Women's Hearts Are Smaller Than Men's
Women's hearts are smaller, our intrinsic QRS durations are shorter by about 10. So if you use the same sex neutral cut off, there's a lot more disintegrate for a woman than a man. And that may explain why we benefit more. But it also says that perhaps the cut off of QRS prolongation should be lowered for women so that more women can benefit from this therapy. I do think it's very, very important to account for sex differences.
