Did the Romans Go Too Far?

Rit ok chiching says, were there any freedom fighters from the far east region of india? Good question. Maybe scotland was just too hilly. Scotland is very hilly. They would have to cross the the irish sea and go all the way there. And what would they get there? More wild people,. more celtic tribes and so on. So maybe that's why. It was just too far and too much trouble. The romans essentially wanted nice, fertile lands for their soldiers in places where you had lots of resources like gold or sme metals.
