The Effect of Government Spending on Child Care
One extra percentage point of GDP spending on early childhood education and child care programs was associated with 0.2 extra children for open-ended families, according to a new study. "I think your average libertarian will probably say, you know, it's not worth it because even if you think that the outcome is good, the government can get involved there," he says.
