The End of the Soviet Union

Many people spoke of this being a funeral, not just for the three men, but perhaps for the Communist Party itself. People were no longer scared, and the end of fear really marked the end of the Soviet Union. All around the Soviet Union, statues of the great heroes of the USSR began falling. Stalans and linens and brassnevs all over the country. The hammer and sickle was lowered over the Kremlin and replaced by the now familiar white, blue, and red Russian tricolor.
