The Importance of Set Experience
I feel that you order too much equipment and you have more people with it, then suddenly you find yourself swamped by all this ancillary stuff. You know, I really like as simple as possible and a few people as possible. Being a sound man on a short film helped me understand that it's actually hard for a sound man to be out of frame. And it's like all these things helps you to understand and be humble to the crew in general.
