Surgical Lung Biopsies - Diagnostic Yield of Transbrancial Lung Cryobipacy?

The diagnostic yield of transbrancial lung cryobipacy was 79%. And went up to 85% if three or more specimens were obtained. So pretty good. I mean, I suppose if the vet's lung biopsies of old standard, one might think that that's 100%, it isn't actually. There is a category of interstitial lung disease that we refer to as unclassifiable. That is actually a specific diagnosis and occurs up to 10 to even 15% of the time. Even with the surgical lung biopsy, the diagnostic yield is not 100%, but generally thought to be quite, quite happy.
