CNN's John Sutter talks to Glenn Thrush about affirmative action and the middle class. He says there is a sense that black people should not be expected to perform at same level as whites. But he asks: What about blacks in suburban Atlanta, suburban Houston or suburban Chicago? The children of all those people are beneficiaries themselves who have penetrated into upper echelons of U.S.society; does it indict them for their failure?
