The Existence of the Dog Is a Kind of an Accident

In aquinas, we can say that my dog's existence is prior to it ontologically. God does not have distinct properties. Heis not in individual qualities. And then you get the of god is pure existence. For him, existence is not accident, like in the case of my dog. He just is pure being.
