Is the Mona Lisa Singing?

I love reading and hearing opinions that have a different take than were my first reaction to it. I think we've talked about it on this show before as well about how art for better or worse only exists when someone views it and acknowledges it. It doesn't change what the art can or should mean, you know, like is the Mona Lisa smiling. Well, that's up to the person taking in that piece of art. And I think the same thing is true with great storytelling as well. Some people are going to find holes and gaps in it and things that they wish it would do that it didn't.
