The Greatest of the Symbolic Steps Was Language
In the early part of that linguistic revolution. words were used as tools, rather than becoming controllers of the way that we did stuff. They didn't construct the upper palolithic world. Ad, they were rather like pieces of ent in order to to divide things in a way which which was useful. There's relatively little evidence, contrary to what stephen pinker says, the uper pelithic people were very violent. But that may be because they had no need to be. As soon you see behaviorly modern humans, and you you see by definition, us withal all our flaws.
