The Lord Has Spoken Evil Concerning You

Zedekiah, the son of Chanaanna, struck Makiah on the cheek and said, which way did the spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you? And he said, you are to entice him, and you shall succeed. Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets. The Lord has spoken evil concerning you. Put this fellow in prison and feed him with scant fear of bread and water until I return in peace. If you return in peace, the Lord will have not spoken by me."
