The Relationship Between Jesus and Elijah
John's mother is related to mary. So they are somehow, somehow related. Both jesus and john use that term, which i think is is interesting. And when they yell at people, they both yell that they are vipers. A so i think his appearance connects him with elijah. You know, he is a person who's grown up in the wilderness. He was apparently orphaned fairly early in his life.
