What's the Job of a Premier League Manager?
The job of a Premier League manager is different to what it was 20 years ago. Ferguson, Fenga, Guardiola, Klopp are really the exceptions - these are the outliers. We're basically talking about all the other teams in the Premier League that don't have the budgets and aren't winning the titles. I think they used to be like a head teacher and now they're just like a class teacher. And at the end of the year, or maybe two or three years, the players kind of get to sicker things and feel like they want to move on. So yeah, there's no room for error here.
