In high pressure environments, there is a larger awareness that a lot of people are feeling this way. It's extraordinarily difficult for a large employer to do this in the kind of systemic culture away that's needed. The genuine inquisitiveness about what people can bring to the table mitigates a lot of those pressures I might have felt at other large companies such as Fidelity Investments and An America Bank.
