Introduction
In a landmark ruling, the supreme court to day legalized abortions. A majority in cases from texas and georgia said that the decision to end a pregnancy during the first three months belongs to the woman and her doctor, not the government. Thus the anti abortion laws of forty six states were rendered unconstitutional. Their right is certainly not absolute, but it certainly gave women a fundamental amount of autonomy over their health.
