You don't need an undergrad degree to apply. You got plenty of time if you start now. The first thing that people usually recommend for English speakers who want to go to Japan and live there is like the JAP program, which is a really good program. If you're in the US and it's crazy expensive to go to college, then that would be yeah, cool option if you were able to get into the program.
