The Limits of Religious Ritual
How do you know if someone is one of your people, they look like you. That's how you know who's in your family. They smell a little bit like you and they act like you. So how does the church try to create a family out of a whole group of people who don't actually look alike? Yeah. And it's sort of hijacks that can recognition process in the brain to say, Oh, you must be in my family too. You people, you are my people too, because we do this thing together. Right. Because you have to be able to trust them because it's a dangerous world.
