He meets me where I am in the human condition and through Jesus and by the gospel of the kingdom he moves you and me forward into Jesus vision of life in the kingdom that said there's all sorts of ways of reading this story one way of reading it is as an expose of Jacob and patriarchy and all about the ancient Near Eastern world. Another way of reading the story is as a compare and contrast between two sisters so let's just think about it through that lens for a few minutes if you factor in kind of you know x number of years per breastfeeding and a few other details in the story.
