Hegel's Betrayal of the Universal
Hegel read the wrong people. There's no excuse because he should have seen that if they're saying to him that Africa's not part of universal history, then they're probably missing something really going on there. You say like, okay, this is where he failed his thought, or you could put it the other way, where the earlier idea exceeded him. He couldn't live up to it for the rest of his life. That doesn't change that idea. And I think that's kind of the thing is that, like, so I appreciate the project to be like, let's really excavate like someone who people think is a radical thinker and maybe we're using these ideas
