There wouldn't be any story by the story by credit unless they were actually working with you to develop the adaptation. In terms of splitting fees? No, it's just because it's separate jobs at this point. They will get a fee for the underlying material and you'llget a fee for writing or selling the actual script. It won't financially inhibit either of you. I mean, ideally in success, you both benefit individually.
