I've Never Been Submitted as a Pilot Spec Script

When he was starting out, you would write spec scripts based on existing shows. That doesn't really happen as much anymore. People don't do that. They kind of write, most people write pilot specs. So they'll write a pilot generally based on their lives or on a funny idea and whatnot. I've never been submitted like look at this TikTok video and then hired someone off of that. It's purely based on a sample. There are so few good samples. But if you write a good one, it will find its way.
