How Do We Get Beyond Being on the Back Foot?

In security there's this, the word i want here, there's this implicit transfer. There's this omambient information where you learn about these things overtime and you build these mental constructs to help us chunk and under stand. And so that's been my passion for a while, is, how do we get beyond being on the back foot and get to all those folks who are building the products, who are deploying the systems? We sometimes don't partner enough with them to help us develop secure and operate secure systems.
