The ankle joint is like a mortise, where you've got this concave structure that sits on top of your tailes. A lot of times just gets stiff. People have these a sprained ankle injuries back in the day and back a whatever. Just limp it off, you eventualy get better. Or finding either chronic ankle instability or chronic ankle stiffness from this history of ankle sprains. We don't just gain that motion back if we never go into that range.
