I have to say neuroplasticity has been one of those marketing buzzwords that has moved away from science. I think people overestimate just how plastic their brains are. Playing a couple of video games for a few hours is not going to have a long lasting change in your brain unless it's like you know particularly traumatic or in some other ways really memorable.
