What Aristotle Means by Natural Slavery
Aristotle says that there are two types of dependency: sexual dependency and those who cannot rule themselves, right? And those who need others to prosecute their projects. The majority of people in Athens or any Greek city state weren't they majority of them slaves? But yeah, it seems to us now that the people who would are natural dependencies are going to be a very small part of the developmentally disabled members of our population. So I think we are missing how different the situation is in say the ancient world, even into the medieval world from what it is in the modern world.
