The Importance of Empathy
The best things in life are on the other side of difficult conversations. We can trigger a little bit more automatic empathy in our direction by being mindful of how we can mobilize biases in our favor. My favorite book used to be finding confidence in conflict and now my favorite book is how to have difficult conversations about race. I will say i did find particular joy in reading how to not lose your stuff with your kids.
