Omega 6 and Omega 3 Consumption in the United States
In 1909, Omega 6 consumption in the United States was 5 grams a day per person and Omega 3 was 0.76 grams per day. The average American today is getting 18 grams of Omega 6 per day and they're getting 1.8 grams of Omega 3. Our bodies are meant to consume very low amounts of these poofus together. We probably only need a half a gram, maybe to a gram, something like that per day is all we need.
