Is There a Good Source of Truth in Financial Statements?

We get financial statements from companies and we turn those numbers into something that a credit analyst, investment analyst can use to make decisions. This is a really tough space. We rely on plaid data, for example, or teller or codat, and so many of them mislabel transaction data in banks. And there doesn't seem to be a good source of truth for this sort of thing.
