The Biosycho Social Model Is a Bad Reputation in Disability Action

The problematic separation between impairments and disabilities has been roundly criticized in disabled circles since the early 90s. The Biosycho Social Model regularly gets sold as a cost-effective way of treating pain, especially in light of the opioid crisis. I think any arguments against this practice among ex-groups need to take place on rhetorical grounds rather than rational ones.
