The Most Efficient Way to Transform the Solar System
You decide how much sunlight you need in terms of habitable area. And then you figure out what the output of the sun or everything else is. There's ways you could have plants going quite robustly on about a tenth of the sunlight that's actually produced. You could also just be adding infusion reactors, fake suns, black or generalist things like that.
