You trade your abnormal pH for an abnormal bicarb That's what's happening during this this process where you're accommodating For every 10 that the pco2 falls the bicarb falls to Acutely and four chronically Right, so you have one in three for respiratory acidosis and two and four for respiratory alkalotic.
