The Cost of Living in a Rural Area
There are a lot of free things to do in Paris. Museums are free one day a month, lots of parks and things like that. Because Paris is a kind of a central hub for agriculture running through France, a lot of things were cheaper in Paris than they were in Waterford. If you live like a local and buy local brands and natural foods, vegetables and stuff like that, it can be a lot less. The $250,000 coupled with two kids can pretty much go anywhere and find a better lifestyle.
