Getting Lost in a Book

Jenny and chris were soon set up with their umbrella and their two chairs, facing the gently glittering surf. The sound of the waves drifted soothingly across the beach to where they sat. Around them, other beach goers settled into their own activities. A family near by began building an elaborate sand castle. Their small children made countless trips to and from the surf to bring water into a bucket to fill the moat. Just fetching the water was wonderful entertainment. Jenny wasn't sure how long she read, but she realized at some point that the sun was high in the sky and she had drifted off to sleep.
