The Importance of Uncertainty and Probability

The idea of uncertainty and probability are really at the center of any statistical model. And I think we understand that as human beings, we can understand uncertainty through a very statistical lens. But mostly on a day to day basis, and I'm a usual, but I don't really live my life based on statistical models or anything like that. These assessments seem to be made by a different part of my brain that I don'treally talk to very often, but it seems to have to cooperate.
