In the last 20 years, we've got something like 24 journals under the lancet umbrella. Some of them increased their impact factors quite spectacularly. We took a very different view in the the we didn't see it as commercialization of the lancets brand. What we saw it as was an opportunity to fy the message of the Lancet in different specialties. That's what we really tried to do. It's deeply held in my heart and I don't mean glib about it at all.
