Kwame Kilpatrick's State of the City Address

Kwame Kilpatrick, once a rising star in the Democratic Party, had now become just another disgraced politician apologizing on TV as American as apple pie. On March 11th, 2008, completely embroiled in multiple scandals at this point, Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick delivered the annual State of the City address to the citizens of Detroit. He veered off script and addressed all of the controversy in which he was involved. "I don't believe that a Nielsen rating is worth the life of my children or your children"
