The Complexity of the Human Experience
I like to see female characters that are a bit crap in the sense that, you know, you don't have to be a, an archetype of like this kind of kind of specific thing. I would love to get to a point where we're seeing the same thing for autistic characters. Some autistic people are assholes and some autistic people are amazing. That's just being a human, right? Neurotypical people are awesome and some neurotypicalPeople are horrible. It's the range of complexity in the human experience. And I think it's a complexity that is not afforded to characters with disability typically. Clem says she tries to do her small part as an autistic screenwriter myself
