The Chinese Are Not Just Going to Throw the Russians Under the Bus
China is an important ally to China. And the Chinese are not just going to throw the Russians under the bus because they think Vladimir Putin is bitten off more than they can chew. A few other interesting tidbits in here. Owen says that there was actually a secret protocol that was not published in that, which would oblige them to come to one another's defense in case of attack. People I respect in Moscow point out that Russia is historically wary of signing this kind of treaty.
