Cod academy is a learning platform that allows people to set goals for themselves. The company uses the term gamification, but calls it habit building rather than game fication. They say they try not to be too hyperfixated ongamification because if we think about it too much as like a game, were learning as a game. It can come off as manipulative and also detriment to how people learn.
