What Did Barfield Do in the Great War?
Faulse showed louis that materialistic naturalism left no place for his correct reasoning, or the claim that moral or aesthetic judgment were valid or objective. This resulted in leuis temporarily arguing for a pantheism that was very similar to owen barfield's. And barfield was happy with it. Lewis's main treatise in the great war was that each of our souls is projected from one great spirit and that we could all claim as in some sense ourself.
