Comedian's dad worked for Qantas so he was away two thirds of the time. He'd be in a bean bag watching Bugs Bunny cartoons going, you ready? But when he was home, I'd get home from school at three o'clock and he'd be there. It made me realize that what my dad did wasn't what every other dad did. Getting some daylight hours made up for... Most kids don't see their dad until like six or seven o'clock at night. And then by then he's exhausted because he's been at work all day. Whereas my dad, yeah, there'd be a day or two where he was jet-lagged.
