What Happened to Ean's Story?

Ean seems to be right on the cusp of reconstruction at this point in his story. Being full of doubt does not mean life is bad, you know, life was good. But it all got shaken up again by another situation, the 20 16 election. So inconsistent practice basically means discovering that people aren't practising what they preach yet.
