Teachers often assume that teachers know what kind of practices would be useful. But many times they're even using practices that would be unappitable. We must because we both agree that reading and writing are absolutely essential. There's civil rights. If you come to this country, you will learn to read and write so that you can go about our society. It is in the doing that we need to focus on - but the curriculum designed for reading is also extraordinarily complex.
