My Grandma's Substance Dependency Problem
The older of the two brothers actually died a few years in due to liver failure. The younger brother was never the same after this. He sold his house and ended up just living in the tiny cabin next door. It also became clear that these brothers had a pretty bad substance dependency issue. Not long after this my mom started to move out. She could not and should not take that kind of abuse.
