The heyday of deinstitutionalization in mental health was in the 60s and 70s. In many states, you know, to this day, we're still fighting for deinstitutionalized. And that's why it's really important to actually look at this as not just one attempt at closing institutions,. But a huge transformation in the entire way that we structured so many sites of care.
